Amy is one of our talented ER Managers with many years of experience in HR management and employment relations across a wide range of industries. She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Business (PGDipBus) majoring in Human Resources Management from the University of Auckland. Amy grew up in China before moving to NZ and is fluent in Mandarin as well as English. Having run her own ER consultancy Amy understands the complexities of owning a business which has given her valuable insight to share with clients.
Like our other ER Managers, Amy can provide expert advice and support to help resolve employment relations issues. She is a skilled advocate, experienced at representing clients during dispute discussions, MBIE mediation, and formal investigations with the Employment Relations Authority (ERA).
As well as dispute resolution, Amy has a strong background in strategic and operational HR management. She offers services including setting an annual HR strategic and operational plan to align with an overall business plan, sound employment and industrial relations advice, assistance with change management, restructures and redundancies, succession planning, training development, performance management, recruitment, termination of contracts and dealing with personal grievances, health & safety and payroll.
Being bilingual, Amy is able to provide specialised HR support to meet the unique needs and HR requirements of migrant workers, whether it is for a Chinese employee or a business that employs a large Chinese workforce. Amy is based in Auckland, but like the rest of the bossed team, works remotely and is available to assist clients anywhere in New Zealand.
